So this is Disney's first full length film. It came out in 1937! :iconsnowwhiteplz:

I tried to keep in style with the film for the most part, in particular with the animals. I don't really like the outcome, but I think it'd look weird if I had realistic animals or something, so it is fine I suppose. The fawn is so strange, though. I really failed on the anatomy for him. And that little raccoon, I don't know about him. He's decent but he's the only one with an expression, so he looks a little out of place. I wanted to put more critters in, some birds for sure, but I was just so over it by the time I got done with the four I have.

As for Snow White, she's definitely a little different looking from the film, but I wanted her to look a little older, seeing as she's supposed to be 14. Her face and hair is more in my style than Disney's. I really like how she came out, but I don't know how die hard Disney fans will feel about her. I just felt like she looked super young in the actual film.

Anyway I was thinking since this is the first animated film for Disney, maybe I will go through the list and draw a picture for each of them. Like millions of other people, I grew up on Disney movies and I adore them. I think it will be a joy to draw something for each of them.

Just think, in only 23 more years, this movie will be celebrating it's 100th birthday--aka, the 100th anniversary since the birth of 2d movies. Tell me that's not going to be something big. :D

I think you captured the style perfectly.  Only thing would be to lighten up some of the colors so they pop a little more (i.e. the blue and red on her dress)  Other than that, you have some good atmospheric perspective and have created a wonderful scene.  =)

Yeah I seem to have a problem with bright colors and I tend to desaturate things.  I really do need to work on that!  Thanks for the tip

Thank you :D I felt like the colors were a little bland, but when I have things more saturated it never looks quite right in my own work, even though it looks great for others. But I'm probably the only one who thinks so, being overly critical and all.

This looks amazing! I think the critters look very artistic. They have a mixture of cartoon and realism, which I like. Your Snow White is beautiful. I love how you did the hair and her innocent expression. I love it (and I am a die hard Disney fan XD) I can't wait to see more for the other movies! :)

Thank you so much for this lovely comment :) Nobody had said a word about it until now, and I really appreciate it. I'm pleased you like the animals. I try to give them a bit of my own style while still letting them look like the original designs, but sometimes I think I overdo it! And I'm really glad you like Snow White :D

I am excited to do more films. I think first I will draw one of my OC's though, and then another Warriors picture. And then I can do Pinocchio!

I'm sure people will start commenting - you deserve all the compliments. And you didn't overdo it this time! You did the critters just right.

I am sure everything you upload will be wonderful :aww: I really like your style!

I'm not worried about comments now :) I have gotten yours, and 2 others oddly commented right after you! I'm happy with that. Like, I don't expect hundreds of comments - but when you get zero... :( But I have a few opinions now, and that's all I need! I don't want to come across as somebody whining about comments. In the past, when I get too many they are overwhelming. I just wanted one or two :)

Thanks for the style compliment! I feel like it changes depending on what I am doing. I think my OC will end up more realistic looking.
